Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

WikiGacha, also known as GachaPedia Game on Google Play ("we", "us", "our", "the app"), is committed to protecting your privacy. The app is available as WikiGacha on the Apple App Store and GachaPedia Game on Google Play, developed by NUANCES COIFFURE. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), and other applicable data protection laws.

1. Data Controller

WikiGacha is the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have any questions about this privacy policy or our data practices, you can contact us at: [email protected]

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide the app experience:

  • Usage Data: Anonymous usage statistics such as features used, session duration, and general engagement patterns.
  • Device Information: Basic device details (device model, operating system version, language settings) for compatibility and performance optimization.
  • Advertising Data: With your consent (where required), advertising partners may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and interaction data to serve personalized advertisements.
  • Subscription Status: If you subscribe to our premium offering, your purchase is processed through your device's app store. We do not directly collect or store payment information.
  • Anonymous Identifiers: We may generate anonymous identifiers to support app functionality such as tracking in-app progress and global features.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): For personalized advertising and non-essential analytics. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Contractual Necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): To provide and maintain app functionality and process subscriptions.
  • Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): To improve app performance, ensure security, and serve contextual (non-personalized) advertisements. Our legitimate interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain app functionality
  • Improve user experience and app performance
  • Display advertisements (personalized or non-personalized, depending on your consent preferences)
  • Process subscriptions and manage premium features
  • Ensure fair usage of global in-app features
  • Comply with legal obligations

5. Consent Management and Advertising

The free version of the app displays advertisements. If you subscribe to the premium plan, all advertisements are removed.

For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland: Before serving personalized advertisements, we will request your consent via a consent management dialog (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform) in compliance with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. You may choose to:

  • Consent to personalized ads — advertising partners may use device identifiers and browsing data to show you relevant ads.
  • Decline personalized ads — you will still see contextual (non-personalized) advertisements that do not rely on personal data.

You can change your advertising consent preferences at any time through the "Ad Privacy Settings" option in the app's Settings screen.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that may collect information for analytics, advertising, and functionality purposes. These services act as data processors or independent data controllers and operate under their own privacy policies. Key third-party categories include:

  • Analytics providers — to measure app usage and performance
  • Advertising partners — to serve and measure ad campaigns
  • Cloud infrastructure providers — to store and sync app data securely
  • Payment processors — subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play Store

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, including the United States. When such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
  • Adequacy decisions by the European Commission or UK authorities
  • Other legally recognized transfer mechanisms

8. Data Retention

We retain anonymous usage data for a reasonable period to analyze trends and improve the app. Any data linked to identifiable individuals will be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymized. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

9. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in certain EEA member states). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings or the in-app consent dialog
  • Request information about data collected
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Unsubscribe from premium at any time through your app store
